Two months ago the seating options at the Armory Show left us confused and disappointed, but so far Frieze New York has its March rival beat in the chair department strictly on the strength of a pair of elegant wood and cowhide chairs that ARTINFO just spotted at Chelsea gallery David Nolan‘s booth.
The comfortable-looking chairs, with their clean yet rugged mix of sturdy materials deployed in elegant forms and curving lines, were vacant when we stopped by the booth a few minutes ago. No doubt some curious collectors will be having a seat there in no time.
